JOEY MCINTYRE GIVES ADVICE TO JUSTIN BIEBER

Justin Bieber received some wise advice from a former child star, the youngest member of New Kids on the Block, Joey McIntyre, a veteran of 24 years in the music business, recently spoke about Bieber in an interview to 'Entertainment Tonight'. When talking about Bieber, McIntyre, 38, who had his own experience of shooting to fame in such a young age, he warned the young singer on some of the pitfalls of fame. "You have to learn to hang in there and know that there is more to life than just singing pop songs and dance around the stage," says McIntyre. "And that takes time. Everyone has their own way and their own time. You have to go with the flow and learn some things the hard way. " When the New Kids On The Block reached stardom in 1987, McIntyre was only 13 years and found it difficult to cope with fame, especially when the group's success declined after years at the top. "I was not perfect," said McIntyre. "We were not perfect. We certainly make mistakes and there were dark days. You are the greatest thing in the world, but you gotta come down. What goes up comes down, for whatever reason. " McIntyre adds that it is possible for children to maintain their sanity and success having the right people in their lives. "We hope the children like Justin ... there are a lot of young artists out there, and I hope you have good family around them and then they are able to take the ups and downs." What advice would you give to Justin Bieber stay on top of success?
