MTV says Justin Bieber has no chance of taking home a Grammy

That's what James says Montgomery, who writes for MTV U.S.. He said Justin Bieber has no chance of taking even one of the two competing categories at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, "Best New Artist" and "Best Pop Vocal Album." Read what he wrote about: "Listen beliebers true: I know you're excited for the Grammys. Like, really exciting. And why would not you? Finally, JB will not compete only two awards - Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album, but it will also make a great presentation. But you may want to make a change of plans during the Grammy broadcast (Sunday, February 13, on CBS at 20 hours, if you're masochistic or something). Why? Because it could be a very bad night for Justin Bieber. They will not cut his microphone in the middle of the presentation or his pants will fall down or something, because everything stopped after the incident at the Grammys "Kriss Kross" in 1992. But they will do something very bad, at least in the eyes of die-hard fans of Bieber: They will probably send him home empty-handed. Yes, you read correctly. Justin Bieber probably will not win a Grammy at next week's show. In the "Best Pop Vocal Album", it will compete with Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster, Katy Perry - Teenage Dreame even Susan Boyle-I Dreamed a Dream. I have a feeling that even fans of the Bieber admit that at least one he can take, focusing on Best NovoArtista. Because, really, he has a real chance there, right? Wrong. And that's not to do with hate. The last male solo artist to win the Best New Artist? John Legend in 2006. And it was John Legend! The latest heartthrob who took home the prize? That was Tom Jones, circa 1966. It seems that the Grammy voters - may be under the fiasco of 1990 - when they gave the Best New Artist to Milli Vanilli, and subsequently withdrew them the prize when it was discovered that the duo did not actually sing on their own record - are wary of pop acts to men, especially if they do faint adolescents. Couple this with the fact that if he were to win, not only Bieber became the second youngest artist males of all ages to take home a Grammy (and the youngest solo artist of all time young as Luis Michael won a Grammy when she was 14 years old, but he did a duet with Sheena Easton). Fair or not, the Grammys reward young people rarely - and with only 16 years, Bieber is young.
